KCK exists to MAKE DISCIPLES by:

1.  PARTNERING with PARENTS in leading their children toward a Gospel-centered life

2. EQUIPPING VOLUNTEERS to shepherd children

3. ENCOURAGING CHILDREN to grow in Christ by teaching them Biblical truths in meaningful ways.

In our Sunday morning gatherings, children from birth through 4thgrade have opportunities each week to see, hear, and respond to the gospel in safe, nurturing, and fun environments.  KCK team members guide children to put their faith in Jesus by teaching them who God is and what He’s done for them. KCK team members are a group of awesome students & adults who are passionate about making disciples and impacting the next generation!

During the week, it's our desire to be a helpful resource for parents as they navigate what it looks like to raise children in a gospel-centered home.

What to Expect: Sunday Morning

When you arrive, you will be greeted by smiling faces that will guide you to our check-in stations on the right side of our lobby. The check-in process is simple but we’ll walk you though it. On your first visit, we'll gather some basic information from you about your child along with any special instructions (allergies, special needs). As part of our secure check-in process, we will print name-tags for your children and you’ll receive the security tag that’s necessary to pick up your children after service. Members of the KCK team will direct you to your child’s ministry area and assist with drop-off.

We offer multiple, age-specific environments that are designed with your children in mind!

Nursery (Infants up to walking age) & Toddlers (Walking age up to preschool)

Our mission is to show the love of Jesus to every baby and toddler while playing, rocking, changing diapers, and singing to them. Your little ones are prayed over and lovingly cared for during their time in KCK.

Preschool (3 years – Kindergarten)

Your preschoolers will enjoy a creative place where they experience the stories of the Bible in engaging ways through story, play, and activity. Our objective is to communicate to your child that God loves them!

Elementary (Kindergarten - 4th grade)

Your elementary age kids will learn about God through worship, games, and interactive lessons that are relevant in their day-to-day lives.  We’ll partner with you by helping them apply God’s Word to the ways they live, learn, and play. In addition to large group teaching and worship, our elementary community groups provide opportunities for children to build meaningful relationships with adults, students, and peers.

Safety & Security & Allergies

Safety and security are a top priority for us. You will receive a nametag for each of your children that identifies their age group, any allergies, and a security code that matches the parent security tag. At the end of the service, each parent picking up a child must provide the security tag and a member of the KCK team will ensure the security codes match on both the child’s nametag and parent security tag.

For everyone's safety and security, volunteers never serve alone and all of them have successfully completed a background check.

King's Cross Kids is a food-free environment. We love DumDum lollipops as a treat on the way out the door on Sunday mornings, however we do not have snacks or food in our ministry areas. Although, the Nursery will give bottles as needed.

If we need to reach you during the service, we'll send a text message to your cell phone.

The Gospel Project® for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project® for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.

KCK believes that Parents are called to be the primary disciplers of their children. We are passionate about partnering with parents by providing tools, resources, encouragement & accountability, as well as providing an echoing voice of the Gospel to children each week in our Sunday gatherings. During the week, it's our desire to be a helpful resource for parents as they navigate what it looks like to raise children in a gospel-centered home.

Families can expect take-home resources each Sunday along with weekly emails that contain Parent Resources and KCK news & events.  We also encourage families to connect during the week and experience life together by joining one of our community groups.  We realize that parenting is not easy in today’s world, and we are here to help!

The KCK team is made up of volunteers who call King’s Cross Church home. This team uses their gifts and talents to make it possible to reach children with the life-giving message of the Gospel each week during our Sunday gatherings. While parents engage in their worship service, children participate in exciting and active environments filled with worship, Bible teaching, and small groups.  KCK team members are a group of awesome students & adults who are passionate about making disciples and impacting the next generation!
